If the body is mastered, the mind is mastered”

Our Goal

Vidya (Tibetan: rig pa རིག་པ། Sanskrit: विद्या) is a Sanskrit word that means self-knowledge. More precisely, it refers to correct knowledge which cannot be contradicted and true knowledge which is the knowledge of the self intuitively gained. In order to free our habitual tensions, we must change our mental image of how we perceive ourselves. To accomplish this we must turn our attention inwards.

Based on years of research we have created courses that draw from traditional Tibetan and yoga lineages as well as Western Medicine and Somatic education systems to present a fully embodied approach to meditation and movement practices.

Individual Approach

Everyone must develop their own approach for health and wellbeing. At Vidya Method, we are here to share the tools that will help you build your own approach to movement & meditation. We encourage you to browse our site and find the classes that appeal to you.

We hope our community can serve you on your journey.
