Whether you are new to meditation or seeking to deepen your practice, this course will help you increase your mindfulness. The focus of the course is on the Buddha’s presentation of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness. These teachings are foundational instructions on the path of meditation given by directly by the Buddha to his students nearly 3,000 years ago and continue to be taught right up into the present throughout all schools of Buddhism.
Mindfulness is the basis for all meditative practices. When one cultivates mindfulness as a daily practice the mind and body become less restless, negative thoughts begin to dissipate and our mood will naturally boost. During this course we will meditate on the Buddha’s instructions on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness.
